Thread: Daily reboot on 722 accesses EHD, for quite a while.

The "newer" 722 in single mode (L622RJQD version) asks to reboot at the set time but after answering yes, it keeps accessing external USB hard drive. There was no activity for hours before on the drive. I can get it to go on by pulling the USB but it did not do this before AFAIK. While working on the other 722 and after about 15 minutes the reboot took. What was it doing? Why the delay as I can just force a reboot with no known problems? It is left with the green in-use light on but the standby logo showing--not a station.

BTW, The older one (L622RJ2D version) has repeated stopped at ~4:12AM (MST/MDT)--not its reboot time. These stops have cost me nearly a dozen recordings but there has been maybe one other report of this. I am less likely to see this on the newer, if it has this problem, as it mainly records daily and weekly shows, not movies, and is not awake then.
