Error 403

Seems lately (and I've only had Dish now 4 days) that when I turn on my 722k it shows the error listed above stating "your receiver needs to be configured with your remote."
I went thru the process yesterday but again today when I turned it on it says this again. You can "cancel" out to which it states you'll never see this message again but I'm just wondering if I could possibly have a bad receiver?
Your input would be appreciated.
