Well... That makes no sense to me! (Edited to add: oh yes it does. The separator outputs are labelled.) I believe the separator is a passive device, and also it sends the lower band to one tuner and the upper band to the other. Which tuner has which band would depend upon which side of the separator was used for the tuner in question. So some people could install it upside down and have the opposite result. (Edited again to add: I wonder if the upside-down configuration could cause trouble?)
