    Splitting TV2 & 3rd remote?

    ADVERTS 1
I want to split my TV2 output to a 3rd TV and then buy another UHF remote. My question is how do I configure the third remote? Does it get the same settings as remote #2?

The same as the TV2 remote that you already have would be far and away the easiest. You might seek out a later model if there's a device that the current remote can't control.

Not knowing that receiver we're talking about, I can't be more specific.

My receiver is a VIP222. Another question, can I split TV1 and still use a UHF remote?

yes but it requires you to UHF convert the first remote. That means having a UHF remote (model 6.3,6.4,and 21.0 only) with the proper tab in it. Also you can turn on the TV-1 on the remote distribution port (menu,6,1,5). The IF remote will still work BUT you need to have it on the same remote address as the TV-1 UHF remote.

P.S. Don't leave the address set to the factory default of one.
P.P.S. If you press #^ (^=up arrow) before you enter the address you will end up with an address 16 higher (example 4 + #^ = address 20).
