I didn't think we were talking about receiver replacements, I thought we were talking about switching to Eastern Arc. Maybe they're doing the incompatible receivers first then.
Dish 1000.4 Eastern Arc dish, ViP 622 with broken HDMI port
GeoSatPro 90cm dish, Sadoun PowerTech DG-280 motor, DMS Avenger PLL321S-2 LNBF, Solomend PVR-800 (Openbox S9) receiver

I don't see how it could be incompitable receivers, I have a 722k and two 622s. Now if they want to replace one of the 622s with a 922 that would be ok.

No it gonna be a Dirctv HR unit and then put up a new dish for you and bend U over while at it. No telling really be sure you aren't being had by a D* scam before U allow them to do anything.

I would call the main dish number and see if they have the visit in their system.

    The letter is possibly legit.
More likely the OP's account was built as a 110/119/61.5 and the tech installed the 129 for whatever reason but did not modify when doing so.
Thus leaving only the codes for the 110/119/61.5 and triggering the computer system to generate a work order for a migration to the western arc.
Or the area locals are going to be moved elsewhere in the Eastern arc.

At any rate you should ensure that no additional contract is signed and that the tech installs what the work order calls for.

    HA!

The original poster originally had a 110/119/61.5
But when they upgraded to 3 rcvrs the tech installed a 1000.2 dish instead of going through the trouble of installing a switch. When he did so he did not inform/modify that he did so.
Thus leaving the orbital slots triggering the migration letter.
The next tech will be happy to come visit you as he will need to do no work.

That is one possible answer. but don't jump to conclusions. Also isn't Georgia in eastern arc territory?
