sling adapter question

is there any soultions to acess my sling adapter on another tv my house that isn't conected to my 722k. do any internet boxes like roku or boxee etc support this.

What u need. Or u can get a wireless thingy from Dish.

Nope. Nothing smaller than a HTPC or laptop will work (other than the mobile clients you know about). I'm convinced Dish did this deliberately to drive traffic to their lousy DishOnline and thereby increase the chances that some weak-minded fool will pay good money to watch old movies ON THEIR PC.

With a real Slingbox, yes. With the Sling Adapter, no. I agree this is a lousy situation.

why pay 200 for a slingbox when the adapter is 30 as long as I have a comatible box like 722k. how much will a media pc cost or should just get a netbook

Yes. Use the S connection. Stream to PCs on LAN. Also to iPhone.

IMHO more flexible than adapter.

any where I can find one for under 200. my local best buy has them starting at 200

edit: found this on amazon. would this be a good option I'm only using it at home
