Good review Scott and lots of good info on the 622 from the rest of the posters. Thanks for all of the info. I'm now sold on getting one.

    622 Pip

is there a way for the 622 to allow a 50/50 split of the pip or just the larger / smaller sizes?

Sadly, because of your status as a "moderator", I can't add you to my ignore list.

I found the manual/review just fine. Easier to read than the Dish manual. Haven't read Scott's review because I'm not a pub member (or whatever it is). Your comments, as a moderator, are exactly why I don't pay to be a member.

I would suggest to Scott that he review his list of moderators.

Scott's review has been publicly available for a couple of weeks now and is a sticky in this very forum.

Your 622 will be able to receive and tune your HD locals with or without Dish locals but you will not receive guide data without them.

You can record locals but it would be more difficult without guide data.

I don't have any experience with powered phone repeaters. Sorry.

AS far as programming, the HD plat pack replaces the everything pack it is not an additional pkg.

Hope this helps and if it is wrong I'm sure someone will quickly correct it.
TAwhite is correct and to answer the one open left by Tawhite.
The Plug in receivers do work but you have to pick ones that support data, not just voice.

Do you have to have TV2 activated for it to work on a 622
