Thread: output question, need help

Im lookin into the vip622 reciever. pretty much only for the hdd capasity, the second tv and the 3 tuners. Anyway back to my question, i dont have a hdtv but it does have componet video (which im using for my dvd player threw my suround sound reciever (has 2 component imputs) looks great, ). What outputs resolutions does the 622 have? i know it has the 480p 720p and 1080i... but does it have 480i?

my plan is to run the coponent video from the 622 and dvd to the reciever and then from there into my tv. very simple if it works. but i need to know if the 622 component video has 480i.

Component= red, blue, green.

my setup:
TV: jvc i'art av-27f703
Reciever (sound): sony str-de597
DVD burner: Panasonic DMR-ES10

It does have 480i along with 480p 720p and 1080i setting's also

thank you very much. my worry was that, the specs show 480i but i didnt know if that came threw the component cable. so if you happen to have a 622 using component video, i would love to make sure this is right. thank you

Yes, it will work with no problem. I have a DVD recorder which I can record through the component inputs at 480i only, none of the others will work. Other outputs remain active during this so you should be good to go.
