Error Getting Location from Core Location

Hello. I just D/L the IPhone app and I cannot get it to show the satellites. I set my 3GS IPhone to internal compass, location is on, and it does not seem to work. Are there restrictions I need to know about? I am in Hawaii, does that matter?
I get the following message: "Error getting locations from Core Location. Could not lock to your location. Please enable location services or try again. "

Also, the bottom panel is blank. No location and no compass direction.

I guess you are using it without a Sim card, i.e. GPS only. Please follow the discussion here http://www.satelliteguys.us/dishpoin...rking-3gs.html
