    Sounds like a good deal. I bought it today. Works perfectly.

    I have a new IPod also. It was a Christmas gift expressly for the sat. locater app.
    I'm not sure I understand,... if you put in you 'geolocation', does it still show you if your satellite is behind trees, buildings?
    From what I can tell so far, it leaves a lot to be desired.
    Not sure I want to keep it if it doesn't work. I don't need an MP3 player.

    The app needs to know your location so that it can calculate the satellite positions relative to your position on earth. As you probably know, the further South you go, the higher you need to aim the dish - so it's all relative to your location.

    Once you've entered your lat and long values, you will see if the satellite is behind trees and other obstacles live on the display.
