Does this app worth with an ipod touch or do you need an Iphone? And if it requires an Iphone if your in an area with no cellphone service (out of area) will it still work?

I don't own any smart phone and was considering an Itouch if this app will work with it.

The app will work with an iPod, but not to its full extent because your iPod doesn't have abuilt in compass.

Ok. Where I live I don't have a cellphone signal. Will an Iphone still work? Does the program require a cell signal?

I don't own anything right now. Trying to decide what I need. I have a older Blackberry that I cancelled the AT&T service but it has no camera. : /

No signal internet or other signals required to operate. Only to download and update. All you should need beside the app is a compass to know where to face.

As far as iPhones go, the 3G (first iPhone) doesn't have abcompass either, need atleast a 3GS for full function of app

The iPod also does not have GPS, so you will need to enter the geolocation (lat, lng) yourself.

Ok. I have the Ipod Touch. Now which app? What is different about the Pro than the regular one? Other than $10. Just entering your own satellites? Which ones come on it by default?

All the Geostationary satellites are listed. With the Pro you can add, delete and edit the satellites.

How long is the license for? Do I get free updates for the software for a certain period of time? Thanks.
