How to use Dishpointer AR for Iphone 4 for line of sight survey ?

    ADVERTS 1
Sorry, but I am still confused on how to use the app. I have downloaded it to my Iphone 4. I have checked the Dishpointer.com site and found the azimuth and elevation figures. I need to check for line of sight. Do I open the app, then calibrate the compass( saw the video) then move the iphone to the right azimuth and tilt it to the correct elevation, then look and see if I have obstacle clearance? If a tree is just below the sat, but clear of it, is it okay. Would it be possible to provide a link to the exact procedures on how to use the AR app for the iphone? Is it more or less accurate with wifi off? Thanks

Yes, that's exactly how to use. If the satellite dot is not on a tree, you're good to go.
