    signal only on 3 transponders

    ADVERTS
Hey all, having a tough time getting signal on all the transponders of the galaxy 25. i am using a 32" fortecstar dish, regular ku lnb. i only get signal on 3 transponders and nothing on the rest. the transponders that i get are 12177, 12090, and 11749 with quality between 35 and 40. if i get signal on these transponders, shouldn't i get a little bit of signal on the other tps. any tips or tricks that i should try. been trying for 2 days straight, and no luck. thanks in advance for the help

What receiver are you using? It's hard to tell if a quality of 35 or 40 is good or not. It varies from receiver to receiver. If your dish is not properly aligned, it's possible to only receive the strongest signals at your location. The others won't lock. I would suggest that you try to maximize the quality numbers for one of the signals you can receive. Is your system motorized or is it a fixed dish on Galaxy 25?

You state that you have a regular LNBF. What LNBF type, Standard or Universal? What LNBF type and LO frequency have you set the receiver for?

Have you rotated the LNBF skew setting? What is your city or zip code?

You state that you have received low quality on 3 transponders. Have you scanned these active transponders and have channels been received? If so, what are the names of the channels?

thanks for the reply guys, changed to a direcpc dish and got all tps, probably something wrong with the lnb on the other dish. it was a 10750 lnb with lo of 11.7 and hi of 12.2. got the right channels with video and sound on the three transponders, but nothing on the other ones, skew was set to 22 degrees clockwise which is for 95376. but now everything is working with the direcpc dish, thanks once again for the replies.

Most the problem on this is the dish been twisted or bended, not very much but enough for tp get too low on signal quality. I saw these on cheap ku dish and cheap Dish dish all the time.
