Motorized H to H Mount help
ADVERTS 1
Ok i'm having a tough time of it. Not much of a clue how to get the pointing started.
I'm in Wilkes barre Scranton are of PA so my setup is
scale on motor clamp= 41.4
antenna elavation=24
true south sat i think is sbs6(74.0degrees) since my lat is 75.6
and my compass south is 187 although i think it might be more like 185 from
PBS"S FAQ page.
I have a 36' dish and a pm900 motor with a pansat2500a. i think i have everything up ok just no signal yet. my logic is there should be a nuber for the motor arm(east /west) and then zero in on the 187to get a signal. I guess i'll have to make sure i have the sat in my reciever when searching for it. Thanks For any help guys. thanks for moving thread iceberg, MAC
