    New FTA CCTV mux on E*9/IA13 - 121W

    Hi there,
    Just to let you know that there are 12 new fta chinese channels (CCTV bouquet) at 121 W - 12161 V 20000 7/8. There's CCTV 9 in english and also there's one called CCTV E&F that broadcasts in spanish and french. Very interesting. Found that while browsing on lyngsat at work

    Keep in mind that they are on dishnetwork, so they could get encrypted at anytime...

    I agree that they might get encrypted at anytime but I doubt that the Dishnetwork subscribers see these channels as they have SIDs that would overlap the dish channels, and there's no provider ID either on these... I think they must be leasing this unused transponder from dish or whomever owns this sat.

    I just wonder if Dish will let CCTV-9 be available like it is on DirecTV. Isn't CCTV-9 a public interest channel on DirecTV? Dish legally NEEDS more public interest channels, so it would make sense.
