ADVERTS 1
I am having a problem with my buddy's vs extreme picking up sat 97.I've noticed it's easier using an ultra whenever i scan that sat.As far as i know the settings should be like this
lnb:universal
low:9750
high:10600
tp 11752
Now when i select the right settings is it best to blind scan then auto scan,or do i just auto scan?

I don't know if the Extremes transponder list is accurate, so I'd blindscan the first time, to add any different tp's, and then autoscan after that, if necessary. Check on that lnbf.

11752 doesn't seem to be an Active TP use "The List" or Lyngsat.com for a list of active TPs...

When you have a good lock, then Blind Scan using a 5 or 6 step, that should find the current Active TPs.
Also, make sure you are using a Universal LNBLast edited by Lak7; 12-10-2008 at 06:16 AM.

I don't see a need for a reset.
Use "The List" or Lyngsat.com for an active TP
Go to the Viewsat's Channels Scan Menu and manually enter the new Active TP.
Double check your LNB for proper settings and verify a good Lock in the Antenna Setup Menu.
Then Blind Scan at 5 / 6 step.10' Unimesh w/ DMX741, GBox 3000, AZBox Elite, SatHawk PVR800 with Motorized Prime Focus 36" Backup.

Make sure the LNBF is actually UNIVERSAL. What LNBF are you using?
Also, for UNIVERSAL lnbfs, make sure you turn the 22KHz tone ON.
