What satellite am I on?
ADVERTS 1
Does anyone know of a program that will identify the satellite your are pointed at? I point my dishes rather blindly and would love to have my laptop up there with me and have it show / tell me what bird I'm pointed at.

There are meters that will ID birds while you are aiming around.
My STB will show the TP ID if I'm locked in the dish setting menu.
Doesn't that PCI card have that function?I prefer sat locations vs. spacecraft names

get a receiver and solve that massive headache of trying to aim a dish with a PC card
Ebay has some receivers really dirt cheap
Winegard 76cm dish, SG2100 motor, Sadoun dual KU LNB..... Directv Slimline SWM 3 LNB.... GeoSatPro 36" dish with Sadoun dual KU LNB... Coolsat 5000 on motorized.... Manhattan RS1933....Directv HR34 (yes the 5 tuner monster) GeoSatPro 200 to aim dishes.... few receivers not set up yet
Two 6 foot Fortec dish with GeoSatPro dual C-Band LNB "ghetto moved" to various C-Band satellites
