TSReader works on Linux via Wine.
ADVERTS 1
TSReader loaded right up under Wine on my MythTV Linux box. I then used the TCP "source" to connect to a program called socket that works like netcat. I modified a dvb-apps tool called dvbtraffic slightly to just dump the TS to stdout and ran it via socket.
So I used szap to tune the transponder, then socket + dvbdump to listen on a tcp port for a connection from TSReader and dump the stream to TSReader.
I told TSReader to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 1234 and it saw the stream. I need to test it more tomorrow, but it has been working on the Mhz Worldview transponder for a bit. I'll leave it running overnight to see if it stays up.
Check out the attached screen shot of Ubuntu with TSReader running and szap, socket & dvbdump in terminal windows.
