MS transponders on AMC1/KU
ADVERTS
Why do these MS transpodsers that are encrypted on AMC1 KU allways freezup and locksup my Pansat 9200? Is there any way to keep this from happening?

Yea its those and some of the Echostar ones too. The problem is when I do a blindscan, and they scan in, it ends on one of those channels and freezes up my reciver. Im running the latest factory software, I really wish for once pansat would button up the factory software from the bugs.

Dish/Bell is notorious for locking up receivers...any of those DBS satellites

This happens to me on occasion, too. All you have to do is move your dish to an adjacent satellite and the Pansat will return to normal operation.

but the issue is he is blind scanning so he cant move it next door while its scanning

Bob I just tried them on 3 receivers (Pansat 1500, 2500 and Coolsat 5000) and all locked them fine within a few seconds. No lock ups
Does the 9200 freeze up when it scans in a channel that doesnt have a name? I know the 1500 does that. Like on PBS it doesnt have a name associated with the channel so Pansat scans for like 4 minutes then logs it as "TV 2"
If it has a name like SNG, MS91, etc it logs right awayUniversity of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs mens hockey team

Got it, was unclear he was using the Pansat to move the dish as well. When it happens to me I just use the old Drake IRD to move the dish.
The 9200 does indeed take longer to scan channels without names, and labels them as "TV 1", etc.
