    Does such a pc-sattuner exist ?

    ADVERTS 1
    Hi
    my compliment for this forum, I hope you can help me
    I must develop a project involving the use of sattuner used in a personal computer. Here my needs

    - dvbs
    - dvb-s2
    - mpeg 4
    - 4:2:0 and 4:2:2

    * blind scan

    * DiSEqC 1.2 support

    * record in ts format

    But the most important think is that I must write my own application in
    Delphi so I'd need that the development is supported with Dll : nevere mind
    the price, I prefer a professional device

    Thanks in advance

    ObiWan

    I believe all your requests can be met but one: blind scan.
    I can't offer an answer about the development support.

    Hi Anole
    thanks for your answer...
    For me blind-scan is a real necessity, but let's forget it for a while as for the support (I'll contact them) ....

    Which professional card do you suggest ?

    Thanks a lot

    Yeah, I doubt you will find a DVB-S2 with blind scan just DVB-S but they are pretty rare to find.

    last that I had looked, there were no PCI cards that supported blind scan in hardware. They all rely on software to do a sort of brute-force scan of the stream.
    I would suggest that you look at DVBViewer as I think they had a delphi SDK available. At least it would be a start.

    I'm not aware of any cards being "professional".
    We're lucky to get ANY sort of card with the features we want! -

    dunnsept has as good an answer as any for development.
    See the various FTA Receiver software packages and look 'em over for development support.

    Ya might see Google for info on the two interfaces (drivers) to the cards.
    - [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broadcast_Driver_Architecture"]Broadcast Driver Architecture - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] drivers. (some info on development tools)
    - I forget the other driver interface... ... been a while since I dabbled.
