Your night show seems to be getting very popular, and adds new content and followers every day.

Why don't ask QQ about exclusive NA distro status? I'm sure they realize value of this thread and its host. Aren't they getting tired from selling of EBay?

While I'm waiting to test the new Linux driver (In UBUNTU),I did customize the LED's.

Attached is the Sharp Data Bulletin (not really a datasheet) for the tuner used in the QQ Box.

Sad to say that the first QQ Box was received DOA with bad Sharp tuner. Now the second QQ Box has died. Same problem, the Sharp tuner is crap.

I found that Avnet is the only supplier I could find that lists but does not stock this tuner. 2000 / min. order.

Hi,

A few days aggo i received my QQ-box. The driver on the cd LMEBDA_DVBS7395C likes only to work with teh blazer software. It don't work fine at all. DVBprog say there is a signal but no level at all. Like that i can's get a lock

Here i find the DVBS_SHARP7395_20090317_x86_x64 driver and works a lot better. DVBprog don't see any signal or level but i get some FTA channels, like that i can't scan new channels

But the problem what i get is that i can receive some FTA channels but other FTA channels stay black and sometimes I here a little sound

Hi Solomine, Welcome to the site.

You don't have upload priveleges on site until you reach 12 posts.

ProgDVB Needs a different driver LME_DVBS.

Step3:
Plug-in for ProgDVB ( Tested in ProgDVB4.84.4):
Copy the LME_DVBS.device to the ProgDVB\Modules folder and select it in ProgDVB Settings, Device list to work.

There are instructions in a word doc file that I posted earlier.

In BlazeDTV sometimes I get black screen and little bits of audio, try reloading software for BlazeDTV.

DVB Dream and Blaze video work with the 0288 driver posted in the same archive.
Sometimes BlazeDTV does this same thing Black screen small bits of audio and then crash.
Are yiou running Vista?

AltDVB will not work with any of the drivers LME has made.

Interesting post you made.

I did tell Prog about this problem of no signal levels. He thinks it is the LME driver.

I have one good QQ Box. Two others with bad Sharp tuners. The bad sharp tuner may cause this problem.

I had always thought that Sharp made good products, but not any longer. It may be that QQ Box factory is getting reject tuners from Sharp.

DVB Dream works much better with QQ Box.

Hi,

Here you can also see the differents between the driver. In the first pic i show the driver who i get in the packed. This driver works verry bad, only with Blaze i have some freezing screens. With PogDVB i have sometimes some signal about 76%, but no level. It's always stay's black. Only the EPG i can read.

The seccond picture, here i used the driver i found here. Thisone is working, but not all channels. Maby a bad tuner ?? My experiece with sharp is not bad, Do you know how i can test the tuner ?.
