Sharp DVB-S tuners are crap
Hi Solomine-
What version of ProgDVB are you using?
ProgDVB is often flaky about reporting SQ and SL.
The black screen is either a codec issue or your tuner is broken.
I had the same symptoms in BlazeDTV before the tuner stopped working.
Does BlazeDTV do this same thing?
If it's any consolation, LME does read posts here. They may report to QQ Manufacturing about how many bad tuners there shipping.

Hi Solomine-
Please explain your setup more. I gather you have CA for the encrypted channels. Are they running on a PCI card with a cam for smart card?
How do you have the QQ Box set up? Is it used in ProgDVB at the same time as your subscription card and in the same computer?
I notice that ProgDVB is not re[porting SQ or SL for either FTA or Sub channels.

I think the sharp tuner is broke, i tried different program like DVBprog, Blazer and dvb Dream.
On the transponder 12.515 GHz. H 22.000 5/6 avery thing stays black
12.344 GHz. H 27.500 3/4 work fine
Like that i have some transponders who works fine other transponders stays on black.
The question is is the sharp tuner realy sharp or chinese fake.
I used the box with a simple setup is a 60 cm antenne with a single alp LNB. It's on the astra 1 on 19.2E

Hi Solomine-
Yes the Sharp tuners are made in China. So much stuff is today. It is the only way to compete for low prices.
Both Boxes I got from QQ Manufacturing have bad Sharp Tuners. LME is a good company in China. But this manufacturer who makes these QQ Boxes is not proud of their work. They will not respond to my emails. They don't care.
But the customer will remember.
