Shipping would kill the deal
... The cable spool table works well, and so does a wooden pallet sitting atop 8" x 8" x 16" hollow cinder blocks. In either case, just make sure to use solid 4" x 8" x 16" blocks or sandbags (200-250 lbs.) to weigh the whole thing down. Current systems: 2X Visionsat IV-200 PVRs; Pansat 2700; Digitrans DTE-7150 DVB/Digicipher II; Twinhan and Nexus-S PC DVB cards; SiliconDust HDHomeRun ATSC/QAM networked tuners; fixed 1 meter Channel Master dish with Eagle Aspen P870 FSS Ku-Band stacked LNB; 2X 3ABN 36" dishes with Invacom QPH-031 Ku/DBS-Band LNBFs on Moteck SG-2100 H-H motors; fixed Sadoun SD180G 1.8 meter dish with Eagle Aspen B1SAT STACK C-Band stacked LNBF; Winegard Square Shooter OTA DTV antenna

Look closely. I don't think that's a cable spool.
Take care with those cable spools. They can loosen up over time and become wobbly.
PS. That $40 discount takes a lot of the sting out of the shipping cost...Last edited by guapoharry; 11-07-2009 at 10:16 AM.

no that isnt a cable spool

The table actually comes apart so shipping wouldnt be that bad
for the uninformed, the table is 30" high and is used to clear the roof of the house for G16.
by the way...I did have a cable spool before for itWinegard 76cm dish, SG2100 motor, Sadoun dual KU LNB..... Directv Slimline SWM 3 LNB.... GeoSatPro 36" dish with Sadoun dual KU LNB... Coolsat 5000 on motorized.... Manhattan RS1933....Directv HR34 (yes the 5 tuner monster) GeoSatPro 200 to aim dishes.... few receivers not set up yet
Two 6 foot Fortec dish with GeoSatPro dual C-Band LNB "ghetto moved" to various C-Band satellites

Looks like you modified it and/or added support.
I use pallets but do a bit of modification. Add a lot of drywall screws and add 2x4 supports where the dish mount attaches. Oh, and use better grade pallets, not the really cheaply made ones with shabby materials...

yeah that spool was really bad....The boards were for reinforcement
