    Call me crazy

    ADVERTS
Call me crazy, but today (NOV 7 09) I installed our outdoor Christmas lights (even on the dish) while my wife baked a pumpkin pie for tomorrow's Thanksgiving \ Christmas celebration. Tomorrow we will have a Thanksgiving feast (turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, cream corn, biscuits and pumpkin pie) followed by watching "Christmas with the Kranks" while decorating the Christmas tree. I also have all the leaves picked up in the entire yard. This is a first for me, because I usually am raking well into January.

After hearing two weeks ago that my dad has lung cancer and will begin chemo and radiation treatments next week, I no longer want to put things off and want to create some great memories for my daughter.

Thank you guys. For the dish lights I used gutter hooks that worked nicely to keep the shape. I also used wire ties to keep them attached when its windy.

Scott should hold a best decorated dish contest this year.

My wife actually loves the dish lights and suggested we keep them on all year.

I would love to do that to my Dish's but feel my wife could kill me if I did it.

Very cool pic's indeed. I too got most of the leaves picked up. It's been rather nice here too, just right up the road from you... My prayers and best wishes to you and the family.
