C and Ku LNBF for AMC21 question
ADVERTS
My 10 ft C mesh dish is now at 121 W - G23C. Getting all channels with a (BSC)? 621-2 dual LNBF (on C band). However, this unit is 10600 LO instead of 10750. I believe it has its own Disecq switch built in. My receiver setting for C band is Disecq A and 22 khz tones off.
Now I would like to move my dish over to 125 W - AMC 21 to get more reliable signal from the WSEE Caribbean channel. Is it possible to get Ku signals with this Lnbf? If so, could some kind soul advise me as to receiver settings, such as Disecq and 22 khz tone for a Fortec Star Ultra (also which LO frequency to use)? Thanks!

yes you can
Do you have the jumper from the KU side (at the top of the LNB) into the LNB port on the 621?
If so setup is as such
C-Band 5150 LNB LO Diseqc 1
KU..universal or 10600 22k ON Diseqc 2University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs mens hockey team
Defending National Champions
current number 3 in the country (but doesnt mean much honestly)
number 3 in the pairwise (this means everything...top 15 teams get in the tourney)

Yes that short coax piece is connected. And thanks very much for the info! Will try at sunset today or early tomorrow A.M. when light is not shining onto TV screen that shows signal strength bars.
