    What's your strongest KU channel?

    ADVERTS
I recently readjusted my dish and rescanned everything. Everything came a little better, but I noticed that KTEL-DT on 79W was booming in at 87Q on my Coolsat 5000 v 1.00. I thought that the meter maxed at 85, but I guess not.

I was wondering what transponders/channels some of you guys were getting the strongest readings on.

There's a couple on 97west that really boom, and 11780 on 93 west.

    lets see

3ABN, LLBN, RTPI on AMC4 (all max the meter)
Fighting Sioux Sports Network on G17
    KTEL on AMC5
    Azteca on 93W
Pentagon on AMC1 (when skew is done properly)

all of these max the meter. I've seen 87 on a CS5000 meter too (old software...not the new one that goes to 99)
University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs mens hockey team
    Defending National Champions
current number 3 in the country (but doesnt mean much honestly)
number 3 in the pairwise (this means everything...top 15 teams get in the tourney)

    Life is good

I re did my "other location" and changed my 103W Pentagon Channel to 101W. 3ABN pins the meter on the DirecDuo Oval dish and comes in 65% on the 18" Old Direct TV dish with a Linear LNB at home.

Setup Home: Direct TV since 2001
    75cm Dish w/ single LNB for 89West
Orion 75 cm Dish dual LNB for 97West
World Direct Dish single LNB for 83West
    WS7630 75cm Dish single LNB for 101West
    Fortec, Viewsat and Visionsat receivers

    * Avatar is Macy's Satellite Network on 105W.

    >>>> Everyone should look into upgrading their OTA capabilities and get a deep fringe outdoor antenna ( with a rotator) and use a 30 db MAST MOUNTED amp. This adds a new dimension to the meaning of "FTA".

I get 99 on a few here and there as I have ghetto moved my ku dishes across the arc. My latest lock is Anik F1R. I locked it in today using my Pansat on a 4:2:2 feed. I will be hooking up a DSR 405 to that LNBF in a week or so when the receiver gets here to do some FTA Starchoice. Not bad quality for an offset LNBF on my 84cm (see attached) pansat tight meter
