viewsat max HD
ADVERTS 1
Hi everyone
Could some one tell me if a viewsat max HD receiver can do dvb-s2?
There specifications say that it will but I read on the net that it won’t.
Is anyone using this receiver or now if it will or won’t?
Thanks

Seems like that's one of those deals that was 'promised' later, add-on board that never happened.....but since they've fallen to the Very Big Corporation of America, it'll never happen.

It's Version 2 of the DVB Standard. Allows them to cram more bits into a smaller space.Last edited by Lak7; 12-02-2009 at 06:40 AM.

Hardware capable out of the box. Software isn't. Never will.

Thanks for the link iceberg after reading it and others here and elsewhere on the net I would say no it dose not do dvb-s2. I have not been able to find one person to say yes it works for me. I guess do your homework before you buy. Buyer be ware.
thanks
