Thumbs up Which satellites are you picking up with your motorized system?

    ADVERTS 1
I think it would be nice to see how many satellites and which satellites everybody is picking up with either a 90cm or 76cm motorized dish.

Please list the name of the satellites you are picking up, along with the dish size. Also mention how good or poor signal quality you are getting from each satellite.

Feel free to share any other informatin as well.

Generally recepion is good. Worst is AMC9 tp 11735H with Q around 40% (AZBox) in clear day and still stable picture, my best is AMC4 tp 12033H with 98%. AZBox is very 'optimistic' reporting 'Q', Viewsat MAX will report about 10-15% less.

    76cm dish and a 90cm dish

I'm not going to list them all out but 58W to 148W (even though 148 doesnt exist anymore) was line of site. Can get to 30W but dish hits the mast

All come in great except for Satmex5 (116.8). Satellite footprint sucks here in MN (and actually northern US states)
Winegard 76cm dish, SG2100 motor, Sadoun dual KU LNB..... Directv Slimline SWM 3 LNB.... GeoSatPro 36" dish with Sadoun dual KU LNB... Coolsat 5000 on motorized.... Manhattan RS1933....Directv HR34 (yes the 5 tuner monster) GeoSatPro 200 to aim dishes.... few receivers not set up yet
Two 6 foot Fortec dish with GeoSatPro dual C-Band LNB "ghetto moved" to various C-Band satellites

KU satellites from 30 West to 129 West

90cm Channel Master Dish and STAB HH100 motor on pole mount - all satellite locations come in great except for some flakiness on DVB-S2 signals (particularly the NBC channels on 103 W due to oddball skew)

I have an SG 2100 and 76 cm Ku for only. When new, it covered 85 West to a satellite that was at 157 West with superb signal quality. East of 85 was blocked by a tree. I had to reposition the dish after the wind bent the braces holding a pole onto a chimney mount I had it on. The new configuration is only working from 101 West to 129 West but I hope to improve the arc shortly, after I finish some C-Band experiments underway that I have been thinking about for over a year. I am finally getting some time off over the Holiday and I am taking advantage of it!
Currently in use (CA): DS2076 .76m Ku, SG2100, Dual .4 Linear LNB & Dual .5 Circular LNB, STRONG 1.8M Prime Focus, GEOSATPRO C2 Dual C-Band LNB, Diamond 9000 500GB, Visionsat IV-200 500GB, DSR920, OTA Ant.
Currently in use (NC): DishPro 500 with Quad LNB and 2 JVI35-DN34 switches, 4 Dish 311s, Dish 301(Pre-paid), OTA Ant.

Two dish sizes, 76 cm (Winegard DS-2076) and 1.2 M (GEOSAT pro).
DG-280B and DG-380 motors respectively. Invacom QPH-031 LNBF on both.

Signal quality differences between the two are very minimal, 1-3% maximum and not consistent
(hard to judge whether it is my alignment problem or the difference in the dish itself or other factors),
but rain fade concerns are greatly improved with the 1.2 M.

Upper Ku-band signals at this time only, mostly using AZBox Premium.

63W is the weakest signal (65-67% Q) other than the RTN TP (69-72% Q), these two readings with Coolsat 5K.

I can get 72W to 125W with this dish and a DG-380. Could go farther East but have trees to the West. Also I can only get a few channels on 99W because a large sugar maple is blocking that location.

Someday would like a larger oval dish to replace this one.
