Currently live footage of the event from camera overhead a building looking down on ABC News1 on Galaxy 28 Tp 11955V 19532 FEC 3/4. This feed will last all night. The second feed on the same transponder should go live with events on the ground. These feeds are receivable with a regular FTA receiver.

Thanks nycrich. I was going to watch it via internet as usually do, but now if it does come up on TV, that would be great!

The second feed on 11955V as mentioned on G28 is up showing live celebrations in France. Currently showing the Eiffel tower and fireworks in the background. Nice light show on the tower

You're most welcome. This is what the hobby and this site is all about. The family is really enjoying the show as though we are up front row in Times Square, with all the background scenes, pre-performance by Jennifer Lopez, etc for the later part of the night.
Now my wife fells guilty about my dishes. Maybe its time to ask for a 12 footer as an upgrade while I have a chance.........Rich

Your making me think now?
This might work to my advantage as well to justify putting up the 10' C-band dish that someone thinks I was crazy hauling out of a farmers field last spring?? LOL
Best of wishes.

>>>> Everyone should look into upgrading their OTA capabilities and get a deep fringe outdoor antenna ( with a rotator) and use a 30 db MAST MOUNTED amp. This adds a new dimension to the meaning of "FTA".
