    NET DVB mux gone?

    ADVERTS
I was just surfing around, and noticed that the NET DVB mux on G28 seems to be gone. I know that it used to often be replaced on the weekends when they had football on, so I checked and that doesn't seem to be the case. Looks like the transponder is just empty.
I remember last olympics, that NET had some olympic trials on, but that was because they were in Nebraska, so I don't think that's the reason either.

I thought that perhaps the DVB mux was just testing so as to eventually replace the DCII mux, however the DCII mux is still there.

Anyway, something is up. Perhaps they're moving to another sat or something?

Last summer I had that mux one time....I've never gotten it again. Maybe it was always too weak here for me. I would've like it but could get a decent signal. Blind

The NET PBS mux just popped back in. Surprised me, as I had the receiver sitting on that channel with a blank screen, and a kids cartoon started playing.

Then, just now, while typing this, it went out again.

I guess they're still having problems.

At least it was on for about 5 minutes.

Well strange things are happening on that signal.

I did a spectrum scan, and the signal is still there.
So thinking that they changed SR, I used the SW method to look for the SR.

I got a strong hit at 31000. I was just about to try locking that, when that dissappeared, so I searched again, and got a strong signal at 29300.
Got a very weak lock on it, lots of errors, but it seems to be regular DVB.

Then, finally, it cleaned up, no errors. Locked it in. Has a PAT, but no channels yet.

    Not sure what's up.

EDIT: A PMT and SDT just popped in. Lists one channel, channel 3, with the name NET-Quest but no actual channel there yet. Have to keep watching.

Yeah, last night, I was getting Huskervision at 29300, and there was some game on. This morning, that mux was gone, and the old 25319 mux was back with the PBS lineup. So I guess things are back to normal.
