    HD satellite receiver wanted...

    ADVERTS
I want to buy a good satellite reciver that will get me give me good service. I have been following the postings pertaining to (SatHawk PVR800 vs Pansat 9200HD ?)SatHawk PVR800 but as I gather, it will be some time before it gives a reasonable good performance. Are there other receivers worth going for? Basically I wam interested in the features that the SATHAWK posted as having: DVB-S, DVB-S2 FTA HD, MPEG-2 & MPEG-4, Dolby Digital Audio(AC3), blind scan, and a 1 or 2 HDMI (working) connection.

Which receiver would you suggest as the best? One that would not be obsolete 1 yr from now.

At present time I am using a Fortec Dynamic. It works fine but does not have what I want. I also own a (never been out of the box) brand new Sonicview 360 Premier.

Make a reasonable $ offer and the 360 is yours!!!

    Motorized fortec 6ft dish, C/Ku, with a
    V3000 (GBOX).

Go with the Pansat 9200HD with the 8PSK board installed. You won't regret it.
