It looks like a S2 version of the Match Box Pro.
I would love to hear more about this unit.

I hope you will tell us how this new Q Box works with S2. You might get some helpful info. from the DVB World DVB-S2 thread. Good Luck.

After fighting with dvbdream for a couple days, I finally scanned the NBC HD DVB-S2 channels on 103w. It works...my only issues are with dvbdream, which is the only app so far that I have got the motor to drive with(Stored positions only).
I'll post back when more apps add motor and S2 support for this tuner.

You have to purchase ProgDVB to get S2 and H264 to work.

If you have occasion to open up the Q Box II please take some pics and post them along with the chipset used.
Please post some screen shots too.

@ForestKlown
SichboPVR - Free DVB-S/C/T and ATSC dvr software for Windows
S2, h264, and motor support for your Qbox2.....enjoy.
p.s. i believe that hardware was personally tested by the author. Give the stable version a try first.
@1ADAM12
this is from an email from TBS
"We have USB DVB-S2 box called "QBOX II" (that is out-of-line product and is replaced by "QBOX S2" which has different hardware) that is using STV0903."

More info.
A good place to start is by comparing the specifications: _http://www.qboxhd.com/ and _http://vuplus.com/?page_id=4.
From what I understand, one of the main differences is VU+ has a twin DVB-S2 tuner, so only good for satellite broadcasts, but you can watch one channel while you record another. The QBOX HD comes with a DVB-T tuner for terrestrial TV and a DVB-S2 tuner for satellite TV but you can have up to three tuners fitted. The QBOX HD has an optional WLAN module for connecting to your computer network.
