Thread: Hispasat 1C 1D at 30West

Today I had some success and managed to find this bird.It seems to have very good quality about 78%. I was very pleased since I thought I could get Al Jazeerah in Englsh so went ahead and do a blind scan. I get about 60 tv sattions and about 40 radio stations so things are looking good.
Howewvr when I look for Al Jazeerah I cannot fing it. Further investigation reveals that the Al Jazeerah tp shows 5% qualty a manual scan of this tp gets nothing.
So in summary the Coolsat is finding many but not all of the tps on this bird.
Any ideas about what s going onn here ?

The Al Jazeera English channel is on a TP that is beamed only to Europe. Check the beams on all the other TPs as they are either for America or for Europe only.

Also, some TPs carry nothing but feeds, so they may not "light up" when you blind scan if they are not broadcasting at the time.
