125 West on Coolsat and Nfusion

    ADVERTS 1
Montana PBS 12103 v 4340 is pretty weak down here but I could pull it with he Coolsat 6000. I was puzzled about why I couldnt get it with the Nfusion. Maybe Coolsat was a more sensitive receiver !
I did some experiments and made small changes to the freq when entered into the Nfusion. When I dial in 12107 v 4340 suddenly I get Montana PBS on the Nfusion.
The nfusion has no blind scan so perhaps I shound just add 7 hz to anything the Coolsat finds when I enter it into the Nfusion. Interesting !

some receivers are crappy tuners. I've had a couple like that where 1MHZ on the frequency made a difference

I think technically (according to the Montana PBS site) the frequency is 12104

    edit: yep according to
    here

    it shows 12104

The MontanaPBS service is MPEG encoded using the DVB-S standard.
