Geosatpro 90 cm dish or motorize my channel master dish?
ADVERTS 1
I have a channel master 75e with the cm 3" Azel mount on a NPRM.
I can motorize this, will need those adaptor rings at $30 a pair.
Thing is, is 75cm (30") dish do "just fine" for ku, or should I go bigger? I can get a 90cm dish for $90 shipped.

I would motorize the Channel Master 75e - - - it makes a great motorized dish.
I did one last year and love it! http://www.satelliteguys.us/free-air...zed-setup.html
I have also had a GeoSatPro 90 and it is a great dish - - - - I gave it to my sister for 97W and 101W fixed down in Tennessee. There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"

Would the 75 pick everything up with no problem?

yes
The 75e dish is 37x27 so it will work fine. Unless you want to spend the extra money I'd use what I have alreadyWinegard 76cm dish, SG2100 motor, Sadoun dual KU LNB..... Directv Slimline SWM 3 LNB.... GeoSatPro 36" dish with Sadoun dual KU LNB... Coolsat 5000 on motorized.... Manhattan RS1933....Directv HR34 (yes the 5 tuner monster) GeoSatPro 200 to aim dishes.... few receivers not set up yet

If you click the links, they don't work.
However, if you clip out and past in the links above, they work fine.
Probably just another artifact of upgrading the forum software last year.
