Question Got another Linear LNB Eagle P170Ku any experience with this?

    ADVERTS 1
Well, I love going through the D*** dumpster....

In addition to the FSS Stacked LNB, I now have this Oval Eagle P170Ku LNB....

I'm going to be using a Wineguard 76cm Dish, or maybe use one of the SuperDish 105/121, Slimline AT9 or AU9..

Any experience with which one would be better suited for Linear FTA use on any of these?

    According to this
    Eagle Aspen data sheet

    , the 170's are voltage switched for H & V polarity.

A Dish Network LNB off a SuperDish 105 or 121 antenna looks like the picture on the right, above, but is bandstacked.
... and has a sticker on it labeled: FSS

You should use a feedhorn that matches the shape of the dish you use.
The bigger the dish, and the better the feedhorn matches it, the better performance you'll get.

Below is a picture of a DishNet FSS LNB mated to a feedhorn off a ChannelMaster (Primestar) elliptical dish.

We had a member make his own feedhorn for a round dish, which performs better than the round horn off a 105 dish.
(skip to the bottom of page 2 )
That was prompted by a discussion by Pendragon, where he compared several feedhorns, and made his own.
