Can I watch channels on the Brasilsat ?

    ADVERTS
    Hey guys,
I'm amazed by all the information and help you guys provide in this forum.
I have dish network today, and after reading about the FTA channels for a while I'm having seconds thoughts to give it a try.
My main goal would be to watch the brazilian channels in the Brasilsat satellite.
Do you guys know if this is possible, and what type of equipment I'd need?
I don't know what band (c or ku) those channels are transmitted. I also heard about the Pansats and other receivers, but which one is the best deal for the newbie (adding a motor in the future would also be cool!) ?

    My zipcode is 75094, TX.
    Thanks!!!

The Brazil sats are C-Band but the problem is the beam for the signals is only over Brazil. So we can't get them in the US

There are no Brazilian channels available FTA in North America. The only way to get any Brazilian channels is on Dish Network.
