Red face C band Dish and Manhattan Receiver

    ADVERTS 1
Does anyone have a c band dish around the Trenton, Missouri area? I like to get a 6ft dish. Does anyone know how to setup a harddrive on a manhattan receiver. Do I need to reformat the harddrive in linux format?

I don't know anything about your receiver, but I've had C/KU for years. Find the biggest dish that you have room for. I have 8.5 ft . wish it was at least 10 ft at times. Enjoy FTA.

Go to the Manhattan-Digital website for access to a video showing how to format an external hard drive.

Yes, you walk your way into the menu and click a button to format the drive. It's pretty easy, but you DO have to walk thru the menu.

I've been using a new out-of-the-box Seagate 2TB NTFS formatted drive with great results. The only problem I have run into is once, when deleting a program, it didn't get the allocation tables correct and I had to plug it into my Windows computer to run chkdsk on it to fix before the Manhattan would record to it again. I fixed that problem by just not deleting anything with the Manhattan.
