Is there a future FTA KA FSS band around the corner?

    ADVERTS
Hey guys what you think of it about new KA band, and will there be some FTA on the higher freqs,?

Will the KA LNB work with our current recievers or we may have to buy the new ones that's handle C, KU and KA bands?

I bet there is stuff there. From what I read the LNB is $$$$ so the question would be is it worth it?

Around the corner no. Down the road? Maybe.

A current receiver should work with out a problem. I believe all LNBs downconvert signals to an L band frequency.

Currently, if you want to get a Ka band LNB, they are about $199 each and you'll need three to cover the full frequency range available.
