I wish, I come form the UK!
BBC World is on C-Band FTA http://www.lyngsat.com/g13h1.html
Have a look at the below but remember you will NOT be able to see 98% of these satellites from where you are. Always check the satellite FOOTPRINT. http://www.lyngsat.com/freetv/United-Kingdom.html
I have seen LOADS of feeds to and from the UK over the years including HOURS of sports, never know what you will find with FTA : )

due to the way the earth is, no we can't get anything from the UK on their satellites

Man, and in the early days they thought the world was flat. If that was the case, satellites would reach everywhere :-). We can only wish.
