the blind scan is slow and will hang on 4:2:2 feeds

You do know that any blind scan receiver can find HD feeds?

Oh yeah, of course but what good is it for a non hd unit to blind scan HD signals when one cant see em

Just looking for a dedicated HD receiver that can see HD and move my HH120 just fine with USALS.

I might give it a shot and see if I can still get the 9000 for 40 bones.

Neusat 9000 will not bring in 4.2.2 HD sigmals. But it did pick up 3/4 of college football backhauls this past season

I got mine cheep, under $100.00 shipped, I have been happy with it, accept for the not manuel PID entry, I have been watch HD and SD feeds most of the evening, the color is great, considering the short comings and draw backs of the other current HD receivers and their cost I think I would buy this unit again.

I am assuming, and you know what that means, that you have this hooked up so you can use both receivers, perhaps not at the same time, anyway how did you do that, I would love to use my SonicView in conjuntion with this unit, but just don't know exactly how to do that.
    Thanks

Sat lnb to coolsat lnb input then loop out to 2nd receiver. 2nd receiver will see whatever polarity coolsat is seeing. You can then use blindscan on coolsat to find signals. Put coolsat on desired signal, push ok button on coolsat remote. you can see coordinates to enter into second receiver. Easy with a little practice.

Ok thanks, I linked the receivers, I have a Neusat 9000HD that I have linked to the antenna, then I have the second receiver, a SonicView that I have slaved to the pass through from the Neusat, if I turn off the Neusat and use the SonicView the picture kind of looks like you are looking through a nylon stocking, not soft but cross hatched, also if I have the power off on the SonicView receiver, not the main power switch on the back when I watch a program on the Neusat the signol drops out then comes back in and out, if I turn off the SonicView with the back switch every thing works fine, I am assuming the SonicView is still passing voltage to the LNB, is there a way to correct both of these problems?
    Thanks
    Terry

Has anyone tried Galaxy 19 with the Neusat HD 9000? Does it work? does blind scan work with Galaxy 19?
