There is some S2 activity at Pansat, finally. The 9000HD has a software release which enables the S2(9000HD does not require an add-in module). Rumor is, they are planning on bringing in about 200 modules for the 9200HD and getting that function working. Don't have any time frame for that, though. It will be an extra cost item of course. Again rumor, it will cost less than the Illuminati.

That's nice. Dated yesterday. Their dish size figures are based on the fact they only have a 6' dish. Others may get better results.

Ok sence the product if offically listed on the site, where do we go to get one? It would be nice to have the s2 addition.

Perhaps the official Pansat dealer that sold you the receiver.

Well, since pansat is releasing it, I'm sure it works, but since I can't find one online anywhere I can't buy one to try it. I'd sure like to know the price since from what I gather it's basically the illuminatti board minus the turbo stuff.

I'd hope it would be substantially cheaper then the other board.

At that price, it's not worth it IMO, I'd just go with the illuminatti to at least be able to catch the stuff dish FTE's.

    New Pansat DVB-S2 199 + 10 shipping
Illuminatti is going for $229-$249 shipped in recent days.

According to what I've been reading, the $199 is a high price, they should go for less than that...I hope that is the case, its good Pansat is doing this, at least they are making an effort for the real fta market, and I would lilke to support them for that reason alone. I have a short attention span, I buy and sell things frequently and I could sell an illumiati board a lot easier than this Pansat board just because of the market numbers...hackers vs hobbiests, and if the prices are close, its a no brainer to get the illuminati.
