Thread: Pansat 9200 w/ S2 8psk Addin Card

remoded my 9200

remoded my 9200 did not have any smaller fans. had just bought 12 80mm x 80mm x 25mm before Hermitman post lol.
took out the pretty blue one (pictures above post #69)put in one of these it works great too. but it is too loud was told it was 26db sounds like 40.
have wanted to add a resistor before reporting back but no time yet to do it.
turned the new one around blowing in as is the other one. they are very close to the positions as Hermitman has his.
and other than being a signal hog(needing lots of signal) the box works good. not a everyday box for me just for S-2 scaning and recording hi-bit feeds. have not tried the pvr/timer recording not needed at this time.
am i happy with it no but i'm ok it adds the 2 things above i did not have.
if they took the good of the 9000 and added the good of 9200 to it you would have a very good box. if they did this i would buy their next box,if they ever make one.
