Lightbulb Bsc621-2 C/ku Lnbf

Sponsored Links
Just back from a week working on motorized satellite systems in L.A. California
First thing I see on my return is a new C/KU LNB for testing

Still working on it so once again this is a review/test in progress.

I have been using the Splendid ASC-421 C-Band LNB up until now and the first thing I did was swap it with the new CKU LNBF.

I was on a HD movie channel, the signal Quality was at 67% as soon as I swapped the LNB the quality jumped to around 70%

Still working on the KU side and will add my findings here........

The C-Band side is standard with the L.O. being 05150

The KU side of the LNB is a Universal with the L.O. being 09750-10600

The REALLY neat thing about this fantastic LNB is that it has its own internal 2x1 DiSEqC switch, so one cable from the receiver does it all!

MUCH more to come!

"High stability DRO, and using the new BSC technology"

Comes with a dielectric plate for the few circular polarized C-Band satellites.

Nasty Negitave remarks will always be removed from a review!

Great work!
How is that CKU test going? Where is it/will be available?

I think my spare c lnb was broken to start with and asc 421 that I was using got flooded with water So I am C less right now.

Test is still under way here in MN?

The LNB is NOT available yet. Will open the thread when I post my results over the weekend/Monday.

Was just back from a road trip so thought I would go ahead and post the pictures A.S.A.P!

Update, still getting PERFECT results with C band but not having as much luck with KU, for example the best I can get on The University Network on IA-6 is around 45% and on Azteca I get around 60% signal Quality.

I have never tried KU before with my 6' mesh dish so will be open to suggestions here!

Was out last night and at some points was able to max out the signal quality on KU signals on my professional satellite ID. meter (SatHawk) but never as good on the receiver.

Was hoping to work some more on this today but we are having HEAVY thunderstorms!

maybe the holes in your dish are too big for good KU reception

Have you tried to mount this on your 36" dish and see what happens for KU?

Will try the 40" P* later, but the holes seem small enough.
Can you drop your 6' dish off here tonight?

I did try putting a smaller solid prime focus dish right in the center of the BUD but that never helped, when I was removing the small dish the signal quality did take a jump, so you "may" be onto something there......

Production just started today, so I would guess a lag time of around 8-10 weeks. Will keep you updated here
