the 5000 does because when I got the 8x1 I tried it right away and it did work just fine. It has for committed & uncommitted
The 5000 & 6000 are pretty much the same unit but the 6000 has I think more memory
The 8000 does not. The unit only has option for diseqc 1.0, 1.2 or 1.3
Right now you cant use a diseqc switch and a motor at the same time on the 8000. Under Diseqc it says 1,2,3,4,1.2,USALSWinegard 76cm dish, SG2100 motor, Sadoun dual KU LNB..... I had the same experience, figuring out how to use the DiSEqC 1.2 move and save, especially since I found with my Pansat that the continuous pressing of the move button (as outlined in the sheet that came with the switch as the way to set it up) did not work. After getting the first LNB to finally come in (and once I figured out how I had done it!) the others came fairly easily.
One thing I forgot to mention in my first post, is that I first used the switch as a standard DiSEqC 4 port switch to make sure everything was working before I tried the DiSEqC 1.2 settings.AZBox Ultra HD + Pansat 3500SD + EMP Centauri 8x1 + 4x1 DiSEqC + 22KHz switches

Committed/uncommitted settings certainly would be a lot easier to use with the switch, whereas with DiSEqC 1.2 you have to hunt for the correct LNB using a unique transponder for that satellite!
Of course, this brings up the question as to why DiSEqC 1.2 isn't backwards compatible to DiSEqC 1.1 (committed/uncommitted)?AZBox Ultra HD + Pansat 3500SD + EMP Centauri 8x1 + 4x1 DiSEqC + 22KHz switches
