The unit has great reviews and I wanted a box that was flexible and could receive HD (not a lot out there yet) in addition to SD and is somewhat "future proof". I managed to pick it up for 350.00 new with the 8psk installed. I did receive several suggestions from this forum to go with SD, but most likely will do so with my second and third boxes.
