I have a azbox elite and LOVE IT!!!

I use a Coolsat 5000 to blind scan then any HD or 4:2:2 feed I plug the info into the azbox and voila...TV

Third 6 foot Sadoun dish with GeoSatPro Prime Focus KU LNB on it for maximum rain fade combatting

Yuppp. ... I blind scan with either a Pansat 3500a or Sonicview 8000HD then ------> to Azbox Elite HD

nobody can still make a box that can blind scan s2 and do 4.2.2 feeds. come on fta companies your getting closer but not quite there yet

tested a high bitrate HD mpeg2 feed a few days ago with 2.52 firmware (now 2.53 is available), no shuttering problems anymore, picture perfect and stable, hope they fixed the bug definitely (gonna have some more tests, tough)

p.s.: I have a Vantage 8000HD, not 1100, but they have the same firmware

Are you in North America? The unit works fine in Europe, just not with some types of SCPC feeds in North America.
