Very sad day today, We lost a few good FTA dish's today as the Executive Inn in downtown Owensboro, Kentucky, comes down in a cloud of dust. here is the link of the explosion.

Sadly, most buildings that get demolished have useful dishes on the roof. Every time I see workers tearing down a business (even an old gas station or fast food joint), I look around for a dish or NPRM. Buildings being re-roofed are also good hunting grounds.

I saw a building get tore down here locally and it had a nice C-Band dish that wasnt being used (was aimed straight east) that got ruined in the demo
