AZBox and QAM
ADVERTS 1
I am looking into getting back into FTA after having cable for awhile and forgetting it for a little while.. I want to get a AZBox HD Elite, as it seems like it would be a great upgrade from my Coolsat 5000.
I saw a decription on an auction on Ebay that the AZBox supports DVB-C. A quick search on google showed that this was QAM (However, I am not sure it it is the american version of QAM). If I downgrade my cable, I would still be able to get some QAM channels... Therefore, I was wondering if anyone can confirm that they can view their QAM channels through their AZBox?

Don't waste you money. DVB-C is not the same as QAM.
Once again, the US chose a format that is different than the majority of the world.
US - The Majority of the World
NTSC - PAL
ATSC - DVB-T
QAM - DVB-CBrian Gohl - Satellite AV, LLC (Gold Sponsor)
