Somehow I deleted my Coolsat 5000 ver. 1.00 firmware from my computer. Does anyone out there have a copy?

I'm pretty sure Iceberg or others have posted 1.0 and maybe 1.01 ... ?
Give a search. Or probably in the review of the unit.

But otherwise, why don't you try this third party version, with a bunch of fixes?
Here's a thread about it: http://www.satelliteguys.us/free-air...re-0-04-a.html

Thanks Radar.

I wanted to try the new firmware updates for the 5000, but didn't have the factory firmware to go back if I didn't like it.

You are welcome LoTech.

I believe that you will enjoy the new FTA firmware versions, but it is always good to have something that you know to fall back upon.
